FOR GOOD HEALTH

When we are told to exercise by the health care professionals at our check ups, we all cringe! and protest: " too difficult, extra expense, no time, boring" ....etc. . But, who says exercise has to be any of those things?!

Exercise is ANYTHING that gets your body MOVING and your heart PUMPING!!! It does not have to cost money, be difficult or boring, or eat up a great big chunk of your time.

***Take a walk and enjoy the outdoors -- do not forget to take water with you.
***Get up and dance to your favorites songs; nobody will judge you!!!
***Play a game of tag or hide-and-seek if you have young children; if not, get a volleyball net, pitch it in the yard or the park, and enjoy it with older kids or friends -- you do not need a whole team to have fun and get exercise!!!
***Try some of the moves you see on TV dance or Fitness channels; start out slow and work up
***Believe it or not, even cleaning house is good exercise

Set aside 30 minutes each day for exercise; unless you are "building muscle", do it all at once or a few minutes at a time as the situation permits. Over time, you will look better, sleep better, and feel great!

Caution: Please talk to your doctor first, especially if you are on multiple medications or have complicated health problems.
